In addition, our PIS
customers sign-up
for the NAS
redundant dual
Internet gateways.
PIS customers are
also connected to
equipment at our hub
facilities with a
higher tolerance to
power fluctuations
and extended battery
backup.
Sleep Well Service
“Our Fully Redundant
Solution”
This is our most
resilient service
that we provide on
the NAS network. Our
fully redundant
service is achieved
by installing a Vsat
system and a
wireless radio at
the customer site.
The customer’s
Internet traffic
primary route will
be the Vsat and the
branch-to-branch and
other local access
will use the radio
as the primary
route. All traffic
will be
automatically
re-routed if there
is a problem on the
primary routes. This
complex
configuration took
NAS some time to
achieve but all
customer
applications will
work efficiently
during the entire
re-route period.
